EUROPA EMPRENDE Project: Technical Assistance of DEVALAR
08/03/2010 | In January 2010 the project “EUROPA EMPRENDE: Promoting Mobility among European Entrepreneurs” started its activities. DEVALAR has been hired to provide technical assistance to the project consortium about the coordination and management.
“EUROPA EMPRENDE” was formulated by DEVALAR`s European Projects Department. It was submitted in May 2009 to DG Enterprise and Industry in the framework of the call for proposals ENT/ERA/09/311 of the pilot programme “Erasmus for young entrepreneurs” and it was approved by European Commission.
The project will last 17 months. It is promoted by UNINOVA,, Incubadora de Iniciativas Empresariais Innovadoras de Santiago de Compostela (Spain) and other three business incubators: Associação Spinpark – Centro de Incubação de Base Tecnológica (Portugal), Technologie und Innovationpark Jena (Germany) and University of Münster – AFO Innovation Office (Germany).
“EUROPA EMPRENDE” has as main objective to contribute to create a business spirit in Europe and to improve business capabilities, internationalization and competitiveness of European entrepreneurs of new micro and small enterprises. These goals will be achieved through the stays of 44 potential or new entrepreneurs from the countries of the project (Spain, Portugal and Germany) in European enterprises with a solid experience.
The activities carried out by DEVALAR until now are:
•Elaboration of a technical and financial Management Handbook of the project;
•Technical Assistance to partners during the negotiations of the Grant Agreement with the European Commission;
•Technical Assistance related to the celebration of the kick-off meeting of the project in Brussels, on last 29th January;
•Participation in the Networking Meeting organized by the European Commission 28th and 29th January in Brussels. It was a meeting among all European organizations involved in “Erasmus for Young Entrepreneurs” Program.
