Call for Proposals IIE – Intelligent Energy – Europe
07/04/2010 | The European Union launched the new call for proposals of the Intelligent Energy – Europe Programme, for the execution of projects that contribute to secure, sustainable and competitively priced energy for Europe.
The priorities of the Intelligent Energy – Europe Programme are the following:
-Energy efficiency and rational use of resources (SAVE):
•Energy-efficient buildings,
•Consumer behaviour;
-New and renewable energy sources (ALTENER):
•RES electricity,
•RES in buildings,
•Bio energy;
-Energy in transport (STEER):
•Energy-efficient transport,
•Capacity-building and learning on energy aspects of transport;
-Integrated initiatives:
•Local energy leadership.
•Strengthening capacities for financing of energy efficiency and renewable energy sources in housing.
Applicants should be legal entities, whether public or private, established in the territory of the EU Member States, Norway, Iceland, Liechtenstein and Croatia.
Applications should be submitted by a team of at least three independent legal entities, each established in a different eligible country.
The European Union may finance until 75% of the eligible costs of the project.
Deadline to submit the applications: 24th June 2010, 17:00 (Brussels local time).
